Vendor shall maintain secure access to employee medical records and support compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory requirements. In addition to supporting the PANYNJ’s active electronic health record and practice management operations, the selected vendor shall be required to support the continued maintenance, accessibility, and administrative management of legacy medical records and related historical data maintained within the existing eCW environment. These records may include archived or inactive employee medical information associated with prior regulatory, compliance, audit, or operational requirements. Respondents should acknowledge that portions of the legacy records infrastructure may remain operationally integrated with the PANYNJ’s current medical records environment and workflows. As such, transition planning, data management, user access administration, and ongoing technical support for legacy repositories may require coordination with the incumbent platform and additional technical assessment to ensure continuity of operations, regulatory compliance, and preservation of historical medical documentation.
