    The Delaware County Solid Waste Authority (“DCSWA” or “Authority”) invites qualified contractors to submit proposals to haul soil from a property located at 2816 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, Pennsylvania, to Rolling Hills Landfill, Boyertown, Pennsylvania.In addition, bidders shall provide an hourly rate for hauling soil from various locations within the surrounding area on an as-needed basis.The intent of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to solicit competitive proposals for hauling services on both a per-ton and hourly basis. All work shall be performed as outlined in these specifications and any attachments hereto. The scope of work and technical specifications are detailed below.This procurement is being conducted by DCSWA in its capacity as a municipal authority organized and existing under the Pennsylvania Municipality Authorities Act, 53 Pa. C.S. § 5601 et seq. DCSWA is not a borough, township, or city, and this RFP is intended to be administered in accordance with the Authority’s procurement practices and applicable law governing municipal authorities.
