No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Upper Darby Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall state the same.All bidders submitting a bid greater than or equal to $100,000 are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with the Upper Darby Township Responsible Contractors Ordinance (RCO).Project requires the payment of PA Prevailing Wages, provided in the bid documents.The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance.The Township reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Township and as may be permitted by law.Pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February18, 2026 at 10:00AM EST, will be held virtually.
