    Sealed proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by Upper Providence Township, Delaware County until 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2026 for the Ridley Creek Road Restoration Project.The project is comprised of site clearing, sediment removal, grading of the streambanks, streambank stabilization, installation of retaining walls, installation of permanent 100% biodegradable stabilization matting, landscaping, erosion and sediment controls, mill & overlay, guiderail replacement, base repairs, and pavement resurfacing as required to complete the proposed improvements.A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, July 20th at 10:00am for this project.All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay “PennBID” a fee of 0.003333% or $100-$5,000 of the contract award value.Each bid must be submitted online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to bids greater or equal to $25,000.Township Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
