      • DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE/PRODUCT: Veolia WTS Services USA Inc. is the sole manufacturer and supplier of the proprietary ABW Filter® system components used at the VCSA Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Equipment includes all OEM filtration components, internal mechanisms, structural assemblies, and associated parts specifically designed and engineered for the existing treatment application. Veolia’s proprietary filter design, including patented components originally developed under SUEZ/IDI, provides consistent hydraulic performance, filtration efficiency, and reliable long-term operation standardized across the facility. These components are not available through third-party distributors and must be supplied directly by Veolia to ensure compatibility with existing equipment and system functionality. Additionally, Moss Kelley, Inc. / MKI Services, Inc. serves as the exclusive authorized representative for Veolia in Central and South Florida for procurement of OEM parts, repairs, and maintenance services

      Contractors/Vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting in writing their name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail, and a statement regarding capability to provide the specified procurement per the attached specifications. Interested Contractors/Vendors will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirements stated herein. All responses received within fifteen (15) business days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the District. A determination by the Purchasing Director not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion and approval of the Purchasing Director and District Manager.

       

      All sole source/single source standardization purchases exceeding the formal threshold indicated in the Purchasing Policies and Procedures Manual will require Board approval.
