The Project generally consists of the following work: Construction of a new 5,060 SF accessible short-course Olympic swimming pool featuring a zero-depth entry, a 4,080 SF pool house, a 276 SF pool equipment shed, a septic system, and associated site improvements. The pool house will include an entry corridor, locker rooms, park offices, a commercial kitchen, restrooms, storage areas, and a community room. Site improvements consist of earthwork, concrete sidewalks, an entrance plaza, pool deck, drainage systems, stormwater planter, lighting, landscaping, and associated site appurtenances. Work is divided into four (4) separate prime contracts as described herein. Bidders shall refer to individual Bid Forms for detailed scope delineation. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Village Hall. The submittal process shall commence following contract award, execution of the agreement, and issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Construction shall not commence prior to August 3, 2026. Work shall be substantially completed and operational by July 16, 2027 and ready for final payment by July 30, 2027. Notice to Bidders: A. Wicks Law Coordination: This Project is subject to Wicks Law (New York State General Municipal Law §101(6-a)). Four (4) separate prime contracts will be awarded directly by the Owner as follows: Contract 1 – Building, Site, Pool & General Construction (GC) Contract 2 – Mechanical Construction (MC) Contract 3 – Electrical Construction (EC) Contract 4 – Plumbing Construction (PC) The Contractor under Contract 1 (Building, Site, Pool & General Construction) shall serve as the Wicks Law Coordinator for the Project.
