    Sealed Proposals for the Weissport Borough ‘2026 Road Improvements’ Bid Proposal will be received online via the PennBid Program until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Proposals will be publicly opened on PennBid the same day and pending review awarded at the June 1, 2026, regularly scheduled Council Meeting at approximately 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows.Final questions are due no later than 1:00 p.m. May 19, 2026. A final addendum (if required) will be issued by 4:00 p.m. on May 21, 2026.The Work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services as further described in the bid documents.Base White Street from Forge St to Lime St: 2,694 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing CourseAlternate(s) White Street from Lime St to Mill St: 2,639 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing CourseWhite Street from Park St to Forge St: 2,306 S.Y. Milling of Bituminous Surfaces, Scratch Leveling Course, Wearing CourseAll materials must meet PennDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided. Complete sets of the Bidding Documents, including Contract forms, Specifications and Drawings, will be available from the project page at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Weissport Borough. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions.
