West Rockhill Township, Bucks County - Bituminous Sealcoat Bid 2026-001

INVITATION TO BID 2026 Road Programs West Rockhill TownshipSealed bids will be received by West Rockhill Township electronically via the PennBid Program until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 for the following project:(1) Bid # 2026-001 – Installation of single application bituminous seal coat with fog seal, approximately 17,500 SY on Base Bid and 35,500 SY Alternate Bid on Various Roads.Bids will be reviewed and made publicly available at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Specifications and forms for proposal may be obtained or examined on the internet at www.pennbid.net (or www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com) at no cost. (Contractor must register in accordance with PennBid requirements). The successful bidder is required to pay fees established by PennBid equal to 1/3% of the awarded bid total.All bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via PennBid) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidder(s) must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor for all bid items and shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). Copy of prequalification must be included with all bids. All information must be submitted via the PennBid Program.The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance and Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds, each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications.Award of Contract, if Contract is awarded, will be based on the Total Base Bid or Total Base Bid plus Selected Alternate Bid(s); and will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each project. Selected alternate(s) shall be at the sole discretion of the Township. West Rockhill Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
