This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act. The Contractor shall be required to comply with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act in providing equal employment opportunities. The Bidder, in accordance with the President’s Executive Order 11246, will be required to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment or the provision of services. PA Prevailing Wages and Bonds will be required for this project.The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bids or waive any irregularities. Bids may be held for 60 days after opening, however awarding of the contract to the lowest responsible bidder may be delayed 120 days in order to obtain other approvals.
