    Description

    WORTH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ENGINEERING GRANT SERVICES Date: August 3, 2026 Statements of qualifications and proposals are being requested from engineering firms with a strong record of successfully assigning local governments with general engineering services, as well as the planning, design, and construction administration of state and federally funded projects. Responding firms should be technically qualified and properly licensed in the State of Georgia to provide professional engineering services. The County plans to contract with one or more qualified engineering firms to provide general engineering services and/or engineering services related to potential community and economic development projects. Services may include preliminary engineering reports, cost estimates, project planning, surveys, design, permitting assistance, preparation of construction plans and specifications, bidding assistance, construction administration, resident inspection, and project closeout. Potential funding sources may include, but are not limited to, CDBG, CDBG-EIP, GEFA, ARPA, GTIB, LMIG, and other state or federally assisted programs. The County may issue more than one contract as a result of this RFP. One contract may be awarded for general engineering services, while additional contracts or contract addendums may be awarded on a project-by project basis for specific state or federally funded projects. Selection under this RFP does not guarantee that a firm will be assigned any particular project.
