Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FDC Houston intends to solicit this action as 100% Small Business, (firm-fixed-price) supply contract directly to suppliers to procure subsistence (Perishable Prepared Food).

The statutory authority for this 100% Small Business set aside solicitation directly to suppliers is the RFO FAR 19.104-1(a) (1) and RFO FAR 12.201-1(2).  

A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED

The Government intends to proceed with this 100% Small Business set aside set aside direct solicitation to suppliers. The NAICS code is 311991 – Perishable Prepared Food Manufacturing.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS

A determination by the Government not to solicit this action on the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) is solely within the discretion of the Government, IAW RFO FAR 12.201-1(2). Electronic responses and questions shall be submitted via email to the contracting point of contact listed below.
