DLA MEDICAL EQUIPMENT SPARE PARTS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

The Military services have recurring requirements for medical equipment repair and replacement parts. The Military Services have medical equipment repair capability around the globe in support of both enduring military engagement and regional support requirements. Medical equipment used by deployed forces (e.g. in the pacific and Europe) is returned to one of these facilities for repair, refurbishment or replacement when the repair exceeds the deployed unit’s maintenance capability. While most of the parts ordering will occur from this location, there are numerous other sites in the US and OCONUS that will be placing parts orders.

This Request for Information (RFI) is a market research effort undertaken by the Government for information gathering purposes. The information will be used to determine the viability of establishing long term contracts with commercial vendors to furnish new (not used or refurbished) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) medical equipment repair parts for various medical equipment items.

The Attachment A is a subset, sample list of medical equipment Manufacturers and models accurately representing the type of equipment for which parts that may be ordered. As equipment models are replaced and/or upgraded, the list of required repair parts will be updated accordingly for addition to ECAT.

Please provide a response to all questions in Attachment B. Additional information can be submitted in a separate file to support any answer provided by the respondent.

The Government shall not be responsible or liable for any costs incurred by any party in the preparation and submission of any response to this RFI.
