KONICA MINOLTA ACCURIOPRESS PRODUCTION PRINTER

30 FSS , Vandenberg SFB, CA intends to issue a sole source procurement action for a Konica Minolta Accuriopress Production Priter. Market reasearch indicates that  Konica Minolta is the only contractor qualified to provide the equipment to meet 31 Aug 25 deadline. No other contractors are available or certified to provide this  supply.. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 323111 - Commercial Printing (except Screen and Books, with a business size standard of 650 Employes.  The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1).  This is a notice of intent to award a sole source action and is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 3 days of publication of this Special Notice.

Firms who want to challenge the sole source determination must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above.  Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact by 23 August 2025, 1300 (PDT).  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing capability information.
