NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to FighterJets, INC. (cage code 3BRB8), under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). This is a sole-source purchase order based on only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Contracting Officer (CO) may solicit from one source if the CO determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Due to the unique capability and nature of the requirement, FighterJets, INC. has direct knowledge of the type of services needed to accomplish commemorative flying services being requested at JBSA Randolph to ensure a safe and entertaining air show. 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement and is solely within the discretion of the Governement. Interested parties stating capability shall provide the following, but not limited to:

All personnel, supervision, and other items to provide an authentic MiG-17F/T-37 for acrobatic demo or static display to commemorate Vietnam heritage during the 2026 Great Texas Airshow hosted by Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Randolph.
