NOTICE OF INTENT

This is a Special Notice. The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Congress Rental pursuant to FAR 13.302, Purchase Orders. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and received on or before 10:00 am (ET) March 13 ,2026. The point of contact is Naomi Collier via Naomi.S.Collier@dea.gov. The proposed order is for audio visual services for the 2026 DEA IDEC conference to be held at the Sheraton Buenos Aires & Convention Center – Park Tower Buenos Aires 1225 San Martin Av. Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires C1104AKC Argentina from 8/18/2026-8/20/2026  for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Congress Rental;  Congress Rentals is the in-house audio visual services vendor for Sheraton Buenos Aires & Convention Center – Park Tower Buenos Aires. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the esponses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Any source capable of providing the service at a fair and reasonable price, and interested in submitting a capability statement may do so electronically to Naomi.S.Collier@dea.gov.
