REPLACEMENT POWER PIT LIDS, BLDG 4919

This requirement is for the replacement of two (2) Power Pit Lids in the aircraft hangar, building 4919 on Seymour Johnson, AFB, NC 27531. The replacement purpose is to allow for two ports for more efficient maintenance and to increase safety. The current configuration creates a safety hazard when open and an additional cover is continuously moved back and forth to prevent injuries. The new covers shall negate the continuous use of the yellow cover (see two pictures attached). The current covers dimensions are 38.25" x 24". Material shall be aluminum and non-rusting. Minimum of 400Hz output cable opening. F900 certification rating required and skid proof grading. Minimum 12-month warranty. 

Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
