Any delay in the ability to complete services within 160 days due to weather, lead times, or for any other reason, must be communicated to and agreed upon by OPWDD and the Contractor. Refer to the following Detailed Specifications for the scope of work. Upon completion of project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, the contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or designee. The Contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to the scope of work. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid, and Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. All potential Bidders MUST attend the scheduled Mandatory Site Visit if they wish to submit a bid. See below for specific instructions for the Mandatory Site Visit. The Mandatory Site Visit for Capital District DDSOO O. D. Heck Building 10 will begin at 500 Balltown Road, Schenectady, NY 12304 where Bidders will meet OPWDD Work Control Representative or designee. The site visit is scheduled for April 22, 2026, at 1:00PM.
