At that time, or shortly thereafter, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: Rehabilitation of the Barber Road Lift Station located just south of Cottondale, FL along US HWY 231 within close proximity to Interstate 10 - Exit 130. Rehabilitation activities include replacing obsolete equipment and fixtures, rehabbing the existing wet well, constructing a new wet well, constructing a bypass pump, replacing the existing chain link fence and other site related rehabilitation activities. A complete listing of the project activities is included in the project Bid Documents. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jackson County 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida 32448 Email request: [email protected] Office phone: (850) 482-9633 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Pre-bid Conference & Bidder Questions A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time at the office of the Engineer or Record DHM - Melvin Engineering located at 4428 Lafayette Street, Marianna, FL 32446. Questions will be received no later than 7 days prior to the bid opening date and shall answered via addendum.
