    The Rochester City School District (RCSD) is seeking Proposals from community-based partners who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Rochester’s children and can provide direct and/or indirect services to support a systemic Community School model. In alignment with Priority 4A of the 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, RCSD is transitioning toward a school redesign that integrates academics, health and social supports, youth and family development, and community engagement to support the "whole child". "Critical services like health care, mentoring, expanded learning programs, adult education, and other services that support the whole child, engage families, and strengthen the entire community." Update to the RCSD Board of Education, December, 2025 Vendors are invited to submit proposals across five specialized service categories: a. Academics: Expanded learning (before, during, and after school, weekend, summer and vacation breaks), tutoring, and literacy. b. Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) & Safety: Emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and violence prevention. c. Youth & Family Leadership & Development: Student empowerment and/or civic engagement, and authentic family involvement. d. Physical Health Care and Wellness: Medical/health services, recreation, and basic needs/housing support. e. Professional Development / Technical Assistance/ Data Management: Model coordination, technical assistance, and research evaluation. Prospective partners will have the opportunity to offer proposals in ONE specialized service category, MORE THAN ONE, or ALL the specialized service categories listed above.
