Notice is hereby given that the City of Homestead, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis for the procurement of software modules for work order management, asset management, customer service, energy distribution and integrations with existing City systems.

The City intends to negotiate and award a contract to the following vendor:

  Notice is hereby given that the City of Homestead, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis for the procurement of software support modules for work order management, asset management, customer service, energy distribution, and integrations with City's existing systems. The contract will provide ongoing software maintenance, technical support, and related services necessary to ensure the continued operation, reliability, and performance of the software. Services will include software updates, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to maintain full system functionality and compatibility with the City's operational requirements.

  • AppixSoft Corporation 

  Basis for Sole Source

  This procurement is being pursued as a sole source purchase due to the vendor’s unique ability to provide a system that meets the City’s operational requirements and compatibility needs, including:

  1. Compatibility with the existing infrastructure and software environment.
  2. Proprietary technology, integrations, or interfaces that are exclusive to the vendor.
  3. Continuity of operations and avoidance of major system disruption.
  4. Standardization of data systems and reporting.
  5. Ability to provide ongoing support, upgrades, and maintenance as the original manufacturer/provider.

  If no responsive submissions are received by the deadline, the City will proceed with the sole source award without further notice.

  This notice is issued in accordance with applicable procurement regulations and City Code.

  Respondents are responsible for all costs incurred in the preparation of this response. The City shall incur no obligation or liability whatsoever to any vendor or any third party by issuance of this request.
