The bidder agrees that he can complete the project on a 90 Calendar Day Schedule and must be complete no later than September 30, 2026. The Board of Directors intends to award the contract on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 10:00 am. The project is located in Portland, Texas.
The Contract Documents, Specifications, and Plans may be examined at the following location. A Complete set of bidding documents are on file at CivcastUSA. (www.civcastusa.com). There is no cost to view the plans, and printing can be done through the website. Sets of hard copies of bidding documents will not be issued. Complete sets of bidding documents shall be used in preparing bids; neither Owner nor Engineer assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of bidding Documents. Owner and Engineer, in making copies of Bidding Documents available on the above terms, do so only for the purpose of obtaining Bids for work and do not confer a license or grants for any other use. All questions concerning the project shall be routed through CivcastUSA website. Contract documents are available for inspection at the SPCDD’s office located at 701 South San Patricio Avenue, Sinton, Texas, 78387, Phone No. 361-364-4268.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than 5% of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and executed the required bonds within ten days of notice of award. At the option of the bidder, the guarantee may be one of the following:
a. Cashier’s check or certified check upon a national or state ban, payable to San Patricio County Drainage District.
b. Negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value).
c. Bid bond from a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, such bid bond being within the maximum amount specified for such company in that publication.
Bids without such guarantee will not be considered.
Bids may be held for a period not exceeding sixty (60) days for the purpose of review. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities in the Bidding
to award this project to the best responsible Bidder, and to award this contract based on the Base Bid or Alternate Bid deemed to be most feasible to the final work for which funds will be available.
