NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE-HOSA ANCILLARY SERVICES

This is an Intent to Sole Source. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, of quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information regarding this requirement.  MICC-Fort Knox, 199 6th Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121, on behalf of the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, 185 9th Cavalry Regiment Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121 intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source award to the Freeman Decorating Co., 14221 N Dallas Parkway Ste. 200 Dallas, TX 75254-2942.  The Freeman Decorating Co. is the sole source provider capable of delivering booth space ancillary and convention decorator services. Required services include but are not limited to rental of carpeting and carpet padding, furniture and accessories, vehicle spotting fees, and material handling services at the HOSA Future Health Professionals 2026 International Leadership Conference at the Indiana Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. These services will be performed between 15 June 2026 through 19 June 2026. With an anticipated award date of 19 May 2026.

This sole source award to the Freeman Decorating Co. is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 12.102(a) (DFARS CD 2026-O0028) that states, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements.  No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101 (DFARS CD 2026-O0003), Methods of disseminating information.
