    Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Outbound

    As an Outbound SDR at SamSearch, your mission is clear: identify the right decision-makers, get them on the phone, and book high-quality product demos. You will be the engine of our outbound pipeline, owning a high-volume cold-calling strategy targeting defense, technology, and service providers looking to win government contracts. This is a metrics-driven, in-office role built for someone who thrives on the phone, handles rejection with ease, and wants a direct line between their daily hustle and their paycheck. There are no warm inbound leads handed to you - this is pure, elite hunting.

    What you'll do

    • Drive Pipeline: Execute 200+ outbound cold calls per day to high-value prospective clients using our modern sales tech stack
    • Qualify Effectively: Move past gatekeepers, navigate complex corporate hierarchies, and qualify prospects against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
    • Book Demos: Consistently secure and confirm high-value product demos for our account executives
    • Data Integrity: Maintain flawless data hygiene, tracking all activities, notes, and dispositions accurately within our CRM
    • Iterate & Optimize: Collaborate closely with the founding team to refine messaging, handle complex objections, and sharpen our target lead lists

    Qualifications

    • ·Experience: 1+ years of high-volume cold calling, outbound sales, or appointment setting (SaaS or B2B tech environment preferred)
    • ·Resilience: A proven track record of maintaining high energy and motivation through high call volumes and daily rejection
    • ·Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
    • ·Tech Literacy: Comfortable working with modern CRMs (HubSpot, Close, Salesforce) and multi-channel sales engagement tools
    • ·Coachability: A competitive spirit paired with a strong desire to take feedback, learn a complex industry, and continuously improve
    • ·Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with government contracting (SAM.gov, defense procurement, NAICS/PSC codes) or AI platforms is a major plus, but not required

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Estimated OTE: $70,000–$80,000/year at quota
    • Uncapped Commission: Top performers have the leverage to significantly exceed target metrics and control their earning potential
