New Jersey Senate Advances Bill Expanding Eligible Community Solar Sites
The New Jersey Senate passed S-4729, which would let qualifying community solar projects on landfills, brownfields, contaminated sites, and mining sites include associated noncontiguous parcels. The bill is not enacted, so it creates no current solicitation or award; if signed into law, it could expand development options and prompt implementation by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
