Navy Raises Gecko Robotics Ship-Inspection IDIQ Ceiling to $300 Million
The Navy and GSA raised the five-year ceiling of Gecko Robotics’ ship-inspection IDIQ from $71 million to $300 million, expanding capacity for future orders but not guaranteeing spending. An initial order of up to $54 million covers 18 Pacific Fleet vessels, and the company’s robotic inspections can map steel condition beneath non-skid coatings to help target repairs.
